Oil Water Separator Cleaning: Common Questions

How often does an oil water separator need cleaning?

Most need it every 6 to 12 months, depending on the size of the unit and how much oil and sediment your operation sends down the drain. Heavy-use sites may need it every 90 days. A neglected separator stops separating, and the oil goes down the sewer.

What does a free estimate include?

We bring a sludge judge, measure how much oil, water and sludge is in there, lab-test a sample, and give you a price we stand by. No hidden fees.

What areas do you serve?

Akron, Cleveland, Canton, Youngstown and the rest of northeast Ohio.

What kind of waste do you take?

Non-hazardous oily water and sludge only. If you're not sure what's in your separator, a grab sample can be taken and sent to lab for testing.

Do you offer other vacuum truck services?

Yes. The same trucks and crews clean trench drains, floor drains, catch basins, sand traps, pits and sumps. If it's oily water or sludge and it isn't hazardous, call us.
